Refund Policies 

We offer a 7-day return policy starting from the date of purchase, with a 15% restocking fee applied. This means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To qualify for a return, your item must be in the same condition as when you received it—unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. A receipt or proof of purchase is also required.

To initiate a return, please contact us at support@smartelectro.ca. If your return is approved, we will promptly provide instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Please note that you will be responsible for covering your own shipping costs for returning the item, and these costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the shipping cost will be deducted from your refund amount.

An exception to this policy applies if the item received was defective or incorrect. In such cases, smartelectro.ca will cover the return shipping costs.

Damages and Issues:

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item. Take photos of the defective item and contact us immediately. We will assess the issue and work to resolve it promptly.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items:

Certain items are not eligible for return, including clearance items and personal and cooking appliances, which are final sale. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns about your specific item.

Regrettably, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges:

The quickest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have. Once the return is accepted, you can make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds:

Once we receive your returned item(s), we will inspect them to ensure that they are in their original condition. If everything checks out, we will issue a refund to your original payment method within 7-10 business days. We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return. If the refund is approved, it will be processed automatically to your original payment method. Please remember that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Transaction Fees:

When processing a refund, no additional transaction fee is incurred. However, the original credit card transaction fee is not refunded to you when issuing a refund.

Order Cancellation:

Please note that if you wish to cancel your order, you must do so within 24 hours of placing your order. Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled.
